Autumn Theme Contest Winner

We did not have many participant to this contest, but we end up with a very nice website layout, don't you think? Thanks to luvmanga and her wonderful design we have a new theme to choose from. luvmanga has choose her price which will be shipped shortly. Winner and runner also received a little badge attached to their profile signature. Something to show off! Hehehe.

In a few weeks, we'll probably start a new contest which will be related to Winter/Christmas. So I hope that this new layout will inspired many to participate!

Survey results

From the survey "Which format do you prefer to download your anime?", it seems like more than half still prefer avi over mkv or mp4. I noticed that more and more fansubber are trying to go more with mkv and avi versions often come later. If you don't know how to play mkv files, you can take a look in the FAQ or suggest any player you tried. Thanks to the persons who participated on the survey! :)

More days for the Autumn Theme Contest!

Since not a lot of people participate the Autumn Theme Contest, I'll give you guys more days to participate, but only aanet staff will choose the winners. So you have until next monday, October 27th to send your artwork for a website header or banner set and have a chance to win a manga! Click here to read the rules.

BoA's US Debut Single Pushed Back

Korean singer BoA's first English single, produced by Bloodshy & Avant, from her upcoming English debut album Look Who's Talking. This will be BoA's first single to be released in a digital format. The single's release was pushed back to October 21, 2008. The physical release(CD) is scheduled for November 11. It is also confirmed that there will be a remix of "Eat You Up," featuring rapper Flo Rida. "Eat You Up" leaked on the internet via MySpace on October 2nd."Eat You Up" was first released on Japanese radio stations Tokyo-FM and JFN 38 Station on October 16th.

The development of the �Tales of Symphonia: Tethe�alla Chapter� OVA sequel have been announced on the Tales of Symphonia official website.

New My Series Lists Beta

I just released a new feature in the site: My Series Lists. It's still in beta because there is a lot of other features that I want to add, but for now it still can be very useful for many. So the way it works.
1. You browse the anime/manga/drama/games guide (or use the Search box);
2. Selecting a series;
3. On the right menu, you select your status (you are watching it, etc.) ;
4. You can add a personal note (how many you watched, where the file is located);
5. Click the Update boutton;
6. Then you can go see your lists and see all the series you added;
I hope you guys will like it and PM me any suggestions you may have.

By the way, I just noticed that the website look horrible in Internet Explorer. I don't use IE so I didn't notice. I'll try to fix it as soon as possible! You can also try to use a better browser like Firefox... :P
